Leave Cartoon Network Feedback. (Category: Programming- Adventure Time) Try not to flame them, but explain what the episode and the subtext mean to you, and why you want to support the episode. Tell them we do NOT appreciate them cutting…
ok I guess I can't do this anonymously haha but you're really cool! And the fact that you constantly strive to improve your drawing abilities is really admirable and it always makes me want to draw more too! You're fun to talk to especially since you always seem to be able to keep a cool head and not be a butt to people like I've seen so many people online do. I'm glad I met you (:
Well, aren’t you lucky! It just so happens that I’ve been working out his story for a few days now. So, warning: BIG TEXT WALL.
Mumble was bred by a trainer for a trainer who conned people into giving him strong eggs and pretending he would take good care of them. This trainer.. Let’s call him Con-Man, took great care of Mumble until he hatched, and then started his ‘home-made ultimate training plan’. This consisted of locking Mumble in a room and telling him that he would not be let out until he could break down the door himself. Mumble would be left in the room for days on end, sometimes even weeks, only being let out when Con-Man needed him for a battle or thought he wasn’t learning fast enough. In the latter case, Con-Man would rigorously train him from sunrise till sunset, and then put him back in the room and tell him the same thing: Stay stuck in there until he could break the door down. Mumble began to purposely stay in the room for as long as he could to avoid fighting or training, because he usually got beat up in both.
Over time, two more pokemon joined Mumble in his ‘room’. He evolved, unfortunately, at a very young age, due to the rigorous training process. Con-Man also stunted his evolution, so he transitioned from a Prinplup to an Empoleon over a matter of one or two days. In this period, he released a huge amount of power and energy, which finally did break the door (and the entire room) down. The trio, along with a few other pokemon Con-Man had captured, escaped one night, and took to living in the woods together.
Since then, Mumble has been searching for his mother, and also trying to grow up to his final evolution. He’s so young to be an Empoleon, his powers are too much to handle, so fighting him is like turning on a switch, and the fight just takes him over. He’s developed a nervous stutter over time, as well as slurring his words together. However, despite his sensitivity and his small stature, Mumble wants to be a stronger person, and finally lead his team like he was supposed to. But until then, his teammates are just fine with protecting and caring for him. Together, they hope to help other abandoned or escaped pokemon find a stable home.
